Roku Ultra Streaming Player outside USA (Sri Lanka)

Does Roku Ultra Streaming player work outside USA?

I'm living in Sri Lanka and I need a good streaming player to integrate with Control4 home automation system. Is this working outside USA?

Will it work? Absolutely. Will the channels/apps you want to use work? Most likely not. You are not located in a country that is officially supported by Roku. While some channels will work anywhere in the world, most of the major players (Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Disney+, etc.) restrict where their channels can be used. Even if their service is available in your country, the provider still has to authorize Roku to make their channel available there. And in most cases, they will not authorize a channel in an unsupported country.
