I had no problems for over a year, and one morning the device just stopped working. I thought it was the remote, but I think it's the device. I get the dancing Roku screen, and my Sony Bravo TV recognizes the HDMI device, but the remote can't control it (fresh batteries and the pairing light blinks) and my phone can't activate the device any longer. (This used to work fine.) I've unplugged, replugged, made sure the connections are secure, and still nothing. Any suggestions?
That worked! Thanks. So now the device works and I can use my phone as a remote. Any ideas on how to get the remote to work? Batteries work (the tv turns on/off with it) and the green button in the back is flashing.
I purchased a streaming stick plus because I have a 4k tv and wanted to upgrade from my regular roku express. I thought I was doing something. When it came, I plugged it in and set it up with no problems. The picture was noticeably upgraded from the express. I was happy. A few days later I get a message on the screen the stick is overheating. So I unplug it for like 30 minutes to let it cool down. I plug it bag in the same way as before and nothing. It was not connecting at all. Now, I'm upset because I've have been trying to check it periodically and nothing is showing up. My warranty/window of return is not gone. I bought it 7/21 and am now stuck with a dead device. Highly disappointing.
