Roku Streaming SticK+ Startup PC Message

Jump to solution

Upon starting Roku, a message panel appears for about 10 seconds that asks "Is this input connected to your PC?". I did not check the box "Do not show this message again" upon initial setup and now it appears every time and I cannot access the message with the remote to check the box.

I fixed the problem and would like to share in case others might come up with the same problem.
Upon startup and with the Roku screen active on the TV and with the Roku remote active and able to select Roku functions, I wasn't aware that the message panel was selectable with the TV's remote. After stumbling into this realization, I was able with the TV remote to check the "Do not show this message again" box.

@I-RV

Thanks for the post.

Can you please clarify the issue you are experiencing? Is the device plugged into a PC? Or is it plugged into a TV? When you state that the message appears everytime, when does this occur? Can you please provide a screenshot of the issue you are seeing?

With more information we will be able to assist you further.

Thanks,
Danny
