I have been using my new streaming stick+ for a month or so. It accidentally got unplugged. We plugged it back in and the TV is not finding the video. I've made sure I'm on the right source. I've tried all 3 source options. I held the reset button down on the stick to do a factory reset. I also did it on the remote and now that won't work either. How do I get the TV to recognize the video again? Device is on and I get nothing. This is the 2nd device I've had issues with this and I'm getting tired of wasting my money. Please help. Isn't there a way to start from scratch to get it to work again?
I am having the same issue. The roku streaming stick isn't working after accidentally being unplugged. The television has no signal.
Thanks for the post.
How are you powering your device? Is it plugged into the TV USB port or is it plugged into a wall outlet with the provided cable and adapter? Have you also tried using another HDMI port on your TV to see if this resolves your issue?
Please keep us posted.
Thanks,
Danny
My device is plugged into the wall and I have tried switching the Hdmi port. I am only using the adapters the device came with. The issue persists.
There are 4 connections between the wall out and roku stick+ that you should make sure they're seated right, at the outlet, where the usb extender attaches to ac adapter, the usb extender at the AWR, and of course where the AWR plugs into the roku stick+.
Thanks for the update.
If you are still unable to resolve the issue after troubleshooting with all the provided suggestions, please send me a PM with your Roku account email address, and include the serial number on the Roku device along with a summary of the issue you are experiencing. I'll be able to assist you further from there.
Thanks,
Danny
