Premier Roku will not move past the purple ROKU screen

For some reason my Roku premier will not move past the purple Roku screen with the letters jumping up and down. I Have hard reset, unplugged, connected to another television same issue!!

Any suggestions?

 

update: no solutions so I will return and get a different brand.

Was it powered and did you depress the reset pinhole for over 30 seconds?
