Old Sony Bravia TV-2008 roku compatible?

I have a 2008 Sony Bravia tv. Model is

KDL-32L4000. Can I use Roku with this tv?

I have always had cable and have no idea where to start

which Roku is best? After I buy it , then how do I get channels to watch?

@SP2-

KDL-32L4000.has 2 HDMI ports, so any model Roku currently available can connect to it.

I would suggest getting one of the models supporting 4K resolution.  They will provide you service should you upgrade to a 4K tv in the future, but will work fine on your current HD set.
