New Roku Stick Keeps Turning TV Off

New Roku Stick fresh out of box 2019/05/18. Setup fine, then when trying to add channels or use or anything else, TV turns off at about 30 seconds (but appears to have a variance, not exactly same time each time). Have tried re-setting (as in unplug/replug) batteries in remote, power to Roku, Roku into TV. Most current SW. Have turned off 1-touch whatever as other threads recommend. No joy. This is not our first Roku but the first with this problem. Whazzup, and help!

Could the Roku be using too much power that your TV can't handle?

How do you have the stick powered? If it's drawing power from the TVs USB port, try not doing that. Try plugging in using an AC adapter instead.

I'm having the same problem!  Please answer how to help with his problem.  My roku is plugged into hdmi and adapter to outlet....

I’m having same issue turns off after 30-60 minutes

Thanks for the post.

Can you please specify the issue you are experiencing? What Roku model device are you using? What do you mean by "turns off"? Does the device actually turn off, or does the screen go back to the Home screen? How are you powering the Roku device?
