Please send me a PM with your Roku account email address, and include the serial number/device ID on the Roku device along with a summary of the issue you are experiencing. I'll be able to assist you further from there.

Thanks for the post.
We recommend rebooting both your wireless router and your Roku device. I'd also recommend trying to connect your device to an alternate network, such as a mobile hotspot, to see if you can finish updating the device and finish setting up your Roku. Then once your device is setup, try switching back to your home wireless network.
If you are still unable to resolve your issue, please send me a PM with your Roku account email address, and include the serial number/device ID on the Roku device along with a summary of the issue you are experiencing. I'll be able to assist you further from there.

Having the same problem as everybody else, have tried a mobile hotspot and restarting the roku and my router. Plz help
Thanks for the post.
How are you powering the Roku device? Is the device plugged into the TV USB port or is it plugged into a wall outlet with the provided cable and adapter? We would recommend the latter.

I also am having the same issues as everyone else seems to be. I've reset the router and the device (Roku SE) multiple times and tried to connect to a mobile hotspot. No luck. Is it because of the age of the model? I just took it out of the box to try to set it up for the 1st time.
Thanks in advance for any help

I am getting Roku fatigue. Is there any Roku device that I can count on to work? My first unit worked perfectly until it would no longer recognize my network. It was replaced. That unit lasted almost 2 weeks before it suffered the same problem after a software update. So in the black Friday sale I ordered a Roku Premiere direct from Roku. Guess what? Right out of the box it doesn't work. Same thing everyone is talking about here. I am tired of resetting modems, changing Wi-Fi passwords, trying to use alternate networks, resetting the device, and everything else. I have done all of those things. I should not have to have done any of those things with a brand new unit. A device that can find my internet service to do an update and then when restarting can't seem to find anything is definitely defective.
If you're running OpenWRT, DD-WRT, or any other open source firmware on your router update it.
I am able to get thru the process and to my home screen. When I go into an app, let it load in, then hit the home screen, it reboots my roku premiere. It takes me to the language choice screen and I have to go thru the set up process again. Im on a home network, but have also tried connected to a hot spot. I even took the brand new premiere back to the store and got another and im experiencing the same issue.
I just picked up a Premiere on a Black Friday deal last week. I'll let you know if I run into the same typical problem with getting it setup.
