Move Streaming Stick +

Is it best to "factory reset" when moving to different ? Reason I ask, is that when I plugged the stick in, it automatically detected the tv for power and volumn settings.

Thanks

Re: Move Streaming Stick +

Moving to different what? A different TV? No, there's no reason to do that. I use my Stick when I travel, so it is constantly connected to a different TV in each hotel. Never had an issue, and I've been doing that for several years now.
.
Now if you're moving it to a new Roku user account, then absolutely do a hard reset and treat it as a new device.

Re: Move Streaming Stick +

Well, I've switched my other Roku players to different TVs as well, and never had an issue with any of them.
