Thanks for the inquiry.
We recommend rebooting both your wireless router and your Roku device. I'd also recommend trying to connect your device to an alternate network, such as a mobile hotspot, to see if you can setup and update your device. Then once the device is all setup, you can switch back to your home wireless network.
When trying to perform a factory reset, make sure to hold down the reset button for 30 seconds regardless what is happening on the screen.
