Do I need to create a new account for the new location and new roku in order to sign in to my spectrum app? I can get the app, but it doesn't like the username and password I use at the other location. I can sign on to spectrum on my smart phones

You do not need to a create a new Roku account for another device. You can link the new device to your current account.
However, for more information about that channel's authentication and functionality, you'll want to contact Spectrum support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
