How to get support for us older folks?

I'm not from the computer age and I've tried to read articles that aren't even close to my problem and I'm tired of not having access to my TV for MONTHS because my remote no longer works and there is no customer service. 

Is there another platform similar to Roku that offers customer service? I'd like to watch TV again.

Can you please provide the Roku model number you are using. Have you tried new batteries? So your remote no longer is paired with your Roku? Is this a Roku TV or a separate Roku device?
