How to add Antenna tile onto home screen/instructions incorrect

Jump to solution

I have an HDTV and connected a roku to it, I purchased a HDTV antenna so I could get my local news.

The instructions for adding the Antenna tile onto home screen say to go to Settings and then TV input. THERE IS NOT A TV INPUT OPTION. How do I add the antenna tile when there is no TV input option available??

The antenna is connected to the TV, not to the Roku device.  You cannot add the antenna to the Roku at all.  You need to set the TV itself to switch between the Antenna input and the HDMI input to which you have the Roku connected.  Look for a setting on the TV remote labeled "Input", "Source", or something similar.

Those instructions are strictly for Roku tvs!!! You can not have input tiles on non-tv roku's home screens. Actual roku tv have inputs you can connect components to, do you see any input going into your stand alone roku?
