Help with set up

In setting up the software update fails. (Error code 003). It passed the 3 wireless/internet connections and I have 3 bars showing as connected. Looking online it says I have to move my router which is on the other side of the house but I am not about to start moving things around. There is a booster in the middle of the house as well. Does anyone know of a way to solve this before I return the device?

Hi,

We would recommend taking a look at the troubleshooting steps provided on our Support page here: What should I do if my Roku® device is unable to update software?

You could also try updating the software of the device on a TV closer to your router first, and then moving the device back to the desired location.
