Help with replacing older Roku with existing setup
I received an email from Roku stating that soon there will be no updates for my current model. So now I need to replace the one I have. I currently have it hooked into a receiver and controlled by a Logitech harmony remote. I would like to be able to just unplug my current Roku and use the cables that are plugged in so I don't have to move my tv and receiver. Is this doable with any models?
The Express+ Roku is offering will respond to the same IR commands your current roku responds to, so there shouldn't be any problems. Just don't get Roku Stick, which only responds to RF remotes, and so make your Logitech useless to control it. I'm taking for granted that you current roku is not a stick and your Logitech isn't controlling it via hub?
