I know this has been covered here before, but I know technologies change over time..
I have a TCL 1080p Roku TV that has 3 HDMI ports.. too bad I have 5 HDMI devices.. looking on Amazon, I see lots of 3 and 4 port HDMI splitters or switches, but most have at most, a 4-star rating. I feel most comfortable with products that have at least 4.5 stars.
Any recommendations, based on what you've owned and/or returned (because it worked poorly)? Do any of these splitters or switches also include USB power ports?
Do you recommend manual switching, or auto-switching, and how does the TV decide when to switch to that device if 2 of your other HDMI ports are built into the TV?
Sorry, lots of questions..
Thanks!
