Changed TVs with my Roku SS+

I recently moved my Roku Stick to a new TV from where originally set-up. How do I go about configuring the remote for the new TV to control volume, turn it on/off, etc.

Settings> remote & devices> remote in use> program tv> follow the prompts

I brought my Roku ss+ home from the office, used it in one room yesterday and went out and purchased a new tv. The stick goes to the home screen, same as it was on the old tv, the remote is blinking but I can not move to settings or anywhere. The screen is frozen on the home screen. I have tried the stick on some tv's not used for a few years in the basement and I get the same result.

I have pressed the reset button on the roku ss+ to no avail.

I have unlinked the stick from my account to see if that would do anything since I will get a new link # after setup but to no avail. 

I have unplugged the roku ss+ and removed batteries numerous times to no avail.

The stick was working fine yesterday. 

I am lost. I have five other roku products(3 ultra's and 2 ss+.

I would appreciate any ideas-help that anyone could offer.

Did you have the SS+ powered and press the reset button for over 30 seconds?

Thanks for the response 

yes I did and I was able to get back to the start of the roku installation and now it is hung up at the pairing screen. I have had this stick working on this tv in the two weeks so this is very frustrating 

I have reset the stick several times and tried new batteries but to no avail. 

I finally gave up for the evening.
