Cancelling a Subscription

If I cancel a subscription the day after I'm charged, does it continue until the next billing cycle or do I get a refund and it stops immediately?

Generally speaking, the subscription continues to be available after cancelling until the next scheduled billing cycle. (some subscriptions may have different terms).
