Having this exact same problem.

Have tried resetting by holding the reset button for 30 seconds. The power is being supplied by the wall, not the TV. As soon as it restarts after the reset it goes straight back to the bouncing logo.

The Roku is only a couple of months old. How did it get bricked so badly?

Can you help me get it replaced?

Hi. I did my reset with the power button and it doesn’t do anything. I can still only see the logo and it is not working. I can’t even go to my home screen to get my serial number. What else can I do?

@kenkenhems The serial number listed on the device itself. If just bought it then return it. If it is under warranty then file a claim. If it is over a year old then your probably better off purchasing a new one.

Hi @kenkenhems

Thanks for reaching out.

Could you tell us how are you powering your Roku device? Is it connected to the USB port of the TV or to a wall outlet? In some cases, the USB power provided by the TV is not sufficient to power the device. Even though your Roku device may appear to be working, running with insufficient power can lead to instability, crashing, and other unpredictable behavior.

Using the included power cord and power adapter, we suggest plugging your Roku into a working power outlet in the wall. Powering it through a power outlet in the wall has the additional advantage that your Roku player will not need to power up every time you turn on your TV.

Let us know if there's any difference after.

All the best,
Kariza

i have always plugged it in to an outlet directly and not into my tv. this is the first time i have seen this issue.

i also tried using a different wall plug adapter to see if that was the issue, but no changes.
