Can I download the new Bally Sports South app onto Roku, and if so is there anything else or service (besides my TV) I would need to view the app

Re: Available service

I don't yet find ANY 'Bally' apps available for download on Roku.  But when they do become available I expect they will require a subscription to a tv provider that carries them.  That's how they get paid.

It has been reported that Bally intends to make Bally Sports available by direct subscription, but I've seen no reports that this is available yet.

The "new" Bally sports channels are simply the rebranding of the Fox Sports channels.

The Fox Sports apps are being transitioned. Whether they will be different apps, or the same app updated to the new name (like CBS All Access app became Paramount Plus app), I don't know. For now, it's the Fox Sports apps.

Re: Available service

As previously stated - there are no Bally apps available on Roku. The Fox Sports app which I added does not have FSSO on it. FSSO used to be on Hulu but it's not, at least on our Roku Hulu. Which is a distinct annoyance as I can only get the Atlanta Braves game on Gameday on my phone - without paying an expensive premium for MLB TV. Rats!
