Airplay not connecting

I have a Roku smart tv and when I first did AirPlay it worked perfectly until about a quarter into the video it just stopped playing and said I needed to adjust my Airplay and HomeKit settings. So I did that, and now when I try to play a video it just goes to the AirPlay wireless shared connection and tells me what WiFi network I’m connected to and what device to choose.  I’m connected to the same WiFi and I only have one smart tv.
