Just got my first roku Tv. Some channels have the following notation:
"May require additional fees"
Am I In danger of being charged by the simple action of adding the channel in itself?
I assume i would be prompted if I make an in app purchase or subscription after adding the channel. . Just want to make absolutely sure since ruku already has my payment information beforehand.
Am i safe to add channels to home screen without incurring a sudden charge?
For your own peace of mind I'd suggest logging into your account at my.roku.com and setting a PIN. You can then choose to require the PIN to be entered before any purchase or charge can be accepted.
