A friend of mine has an old Roku back from 2017 connected to 1 TV, and she wanted to have the same content playing simultaneously, at least for Youtube, on another TV in the same room.
Both TVs each have a Roku streaming stick ready to go, but I can't get what I said above to work by having both on the same account. Is it possible?
I guess HDMI splitting is an option but I don't really know how to implement that considering the TV isn't an output source?
Just use one Roku and a 1 to 2 HDMI splitter. There are many to choose and they are cheap.
For an example a cheap one with free shipping is:
1080P HDMI Port Male to 2 Female 1 In 2 Out spliter Cable Adapter Converter-xbox

What if both TVs are new Roku JVC 4K Ultras? Just connect one to the other via HDMI to simultaneously stream, as on a patio or in a game room???
You can't connect one TV to another via HDMI.
Suggestions?
Get an outboard Roku like express 4k+, then connect it to the hdmi splitter, which goes to two Roku tvs.
Both TVs are already ROKU
Yes we understand that, but you have to understand that a roku tv, or any tv doesn't have video & audio out that can be monitored by second tv. Just isn't possible. Also your roku tv's count as two separate devices, many apps don't allow you to watch the same show on two different devices at once. It would be almost impossible to keep them in sync with each other. Unless the source is from outside of each roku tv, like another streamer.
