I have tried two different Roku Express' and they both keep rebooting, I thought for sure with a new one (new to me anyways, a friend gave me it when they upgraded), the problem would be solved, but this one is even worse!
The old one would just randomly reboot every so often--this one will reboot & then shortly after reboot again and again and again, usually several times before it decides to behave again for an hour, maybe two-- sometimes not even.
This is driving me nuts, please help!
It is not connected to the TV USB, it has it's own power source.
It's model 3930x

My Roku device keeps rebooting over and over. The streaming then stalls and goes back to Roku setup. Then you have log back into all the apps again! It’s so annoying.
Thanks for chiming in here in the Roku Community, @joanl2024!
I noticed that you're also experiencing the same behavior on your Roku, and I would like to investigate this further.
Could you please provide the following information requested above this thread so we can have more visibility on your concern?

I am having the same problem with my Roku Express 4K model #3940X2. It will just boot to the Roku screen then shut down and restart. It won't go past the title screen so there is no chance of getting to a menu. I have used USB from the TV and USB from the wall outlet without any change. I tried to use the reset button but that also had no effect. What do I do next?

I did try pushing the reset button a number of times. The longest I held it was for about a minute. The rebooting stopped when I first pushed the button but resumed after I had held the button for about 10 seconds. I have also had the USB plugged into both the TV and the wall outlet with no effect on the Roku's rebooting issue.
Thanks for keeping us posted, @Anonymous!
Do you still have access to your Roku Settings? If so, we would recommend providing all these necessary details below.
If you can't access the Settings due to the reboot problem, could you at least provide the serial number printed on the device?
This will help us investigate further.

The Roku Community Team
Because the Roku shuts down before I can get to the menu for settings, I can't access that information. I do have the model number(3940X2) and the serial number (SOHEK416VEHN)
