Why isn’t PlayStation video in App Store?

Jump to solution

Since they don’t have PlayStation Vue anymore why didn’t they add PlayStation video instead because now you gotta cast over you videos to the Roku just to watch your movies 🍿

Good question, you should ask Sony that, since its their product/service and their app.

Just asking why the had vue at one time but didn’t add the video app for PlayStation video to replace vue with like all the other movie apps out there

Roku didnt code the PS Vue app, and it doesnt code the PS Video app - Sony does.

You need to ask Sony why they haven't coded/provided a PS Video app for Roku.

Roku doesn't build the apps (mostly). Sony built the PlayStation Vue app. And, when Sony shuttered the service, they app went away. As for why it wasn't replaced with a different app, it would be up to Sony to build an app (as they did for PlayStation Vue).
