Per Roku rules, apps must soon follow that setting for auto-play previews and similar. It doesn't affect next-episode garbage. I forget when that rule become mandatory.

This is absolutely terrible. I chose Roku over alternatives for its minimally-invasive interface. Any added pauses or clicks will kill this advantage. This will be the death of our extended family and friends' Roku usage.

Users DO NOT want to see more RokuOS ads, if you must please allow us to disable such ads with a simple software toggle.

It makes for an absolutely terrible user experience.

Can't you be happy with the vast command of the smart TV & streaming stick market that you already have? You gotta try to squeeze more ad dollars?
