Roku has just announced the release of Roku operating software version 10.5, for rollout over the next several weeks. Perhaps you are one of the *lucky" early recipients. Often it takes a while for the channel owners to update their channel apps for a new Roku release..
What Roku version are you now running (Roku path Settings > System > About will show you)?
Mine too. Roku 4400x. Netflix wont open. Amazon opens but cant play any titles.
As to mentioning the model and firmware, it appears that really doesn't make a difference as it is affecting many models from what I can see.
I have uninstalled reinstalled both Spectrum and Roku numerous times still can’t fix. HELP
Need model # and firmware version: Settings/System/About
It does in fact make a difference, as there are model and RokuOS version specific versions/builds of apps (especially NetFlix and YT/YTTV), and even model-specific versions/builds of RokuOS.
Assistance is more limited/less specific when basic information isnt provided.
You didnt mention your Roku model # or firmware version (Settings/System/About) or app version (highlight the app and press Options (*) on the remote).
Did you restart your Roku after removing the app, and before reinstalling?
1) Remove 2) Restart 3) Reinstall
Uninstall Restart Install does not work.
Roku device: 4630X Roku Premeire+
Roku OS updated 10.0 to 10.5 build 4156-29
Spectrum version 2.16 build 7
After the multiple patches (software updates today) and deleting and reinstalling Prime, it works fine. Much the same as dealing with Microsoft or Apple.
Update
Spectrum version is 6.8 build 0.
