The Roku startup of the “ROKU” dancing for 6 or 7 times at every startup is very annoying! A couple of times would be sufficient. Can this be changed?
It's merely an animation while the device is booting. If it wasn't there, you'd have a blank screen and not know what's going on. You can't make it boot any faster by displaying the logo for a shorter length of time. If you don't want to always see it, leave your Roku powered up at all times by plugging it into wall power, and not use the TV's USB port for power.
The animation has changed over the years, but the current one has been around for a bit.
But why are you getting that? Are you cutting power to your Roku? Because that's not how it's normally done. Sure, you can, but you won't get overnight updates to apps and such. Roku is and has always been designed to remain connected to power. Just like your TV is connected to power. Unless of course you unplug it at night too, which ... okay.
