No matter if the TV is on the home screen or a channel, the screensaver starts to engage but then goes right back to the screen it was already on. How can I make my screensaver work again? I've tried several different ones to make sure it wasn't just one.
Thanks for the posts.
Do you have any external devices connected to the TV by any chance? If so, have you tried disconnecting all of the devices to see if that helps?
If you are still unable to resolve the issue, as a last resort, have you already tried to perform a factory reset on the Roku TV to see if that resolves the issue?
For more information about how to perform a factory reset, visit our Support page here: System restart or factory reset your Roku
Please keep us posted what you find out.

Troubleshooting to find a possible cause.
Set your screen saver timeout of 1 minute. Then go to the Roku Home Screen. Then take the batteries out of the remote. The screen save should kick in within a minute.
Does the issue still happen?

It didn't fix it.
What happens if you try to preview a screensaver?
It doesn't show up either.
That's bizarre. All screensavers do that? Have you restarted your Roku from Settings->System or Settings->System->Power lately?

That was going to be my suggestion too.
These things are just special purpose computers. Like their big brothers sometimes clearing things out by restarting them can correct problems.
Depending on your Roku model and Roku version number you'll find the System restart option under Settings > System > Power or if not there, under Settings > System
If a restart doesn't do it, or if you don't have sufficient control with the remote to navigate the Roku menus, you can also restart by pulling the power plug to the Roku for a few seconds then plugging it back in and wait for it to restart.
(Note that if yours is a Roku TV with "Fast start" enabled, turning it off and back on just puts it into and out of a standby state and does NOT give you a complete restart. Use the above methods instead.)
I have unplugged TV from power and even rebooted my internet router, no difference. Every screen saver I've tried has given same results.
@RW620, you still haven't said if you've restarted your Roku.
Maybe I didn't make it clear, it's a Sharp Roku TV, there is nothing else to restart.
