Yes. You'll find that dedicated streaming devices such as Roku provide better app support than almost all smart TV systems. The exceptions to this are smart TVs that are actually based on (have the software built in for) Roku, Google/Android TV, or Fire TV. If the smart TV's "smarts" are anything else, their overall app support is inferior.
