Roku has never shared what the flashing light means, but it generally means there's no Wi-Fi connection. Tell us more about what's happening. Are you certain you've picked the right source input on the TV? Do you get any display at all? Make sure you're using the supplied power adapter and not the TV's USB port (if applicable). It would help to know the model number written on the device somewhere.
