Roku Streaming Stick having no sound with hearing aids

After setting up the ROKU stick, I no longer get sound. My husband gets sound through his hearing aids, but there is no sound through the speakers.

We understand you want to hear audio through your hearing aids and speakers simultaneously. We're happy to assist you. Please be advised that before you can begin streaming Bluetooth audio, you need to connect your smartphone, tablet, or computer to your compatible Roku device. This is done through a pairing process which allows Bluetooth devices to register information about each other to make a secure wireless connection. Because this pairing information is retained even when Bluetooth devices are powered off, it is typically only necessary to pair your Bluetooth device one time.

This solution didn’t address the problem, when streaming to hearing aid it sends sound solely to them , no sound comes out of the tv speakers

Hey, @TonyKitKat. Thanks for chiming in! 

Just a quick heads up: you can’t use a hearing aid and the TV speaker at the same time. When you turn on the hearing aid, it kicks in a private listening mode that mutes the TV speakers. 

Try this workaround: Use the Roku Mobile App for Headphones mode, which can connect up to four devices simultaneously. Want tips? Here's a link!
