Roku Stick+ Outdoor TV Setup

I’m seeking advice on a setup for a outdoor TV.

I’m using a #Roku Stick+ and have placed it inside the weather proof case of the TV.  The issue is that it appears that the case degrades the WiFi signal, resulting in continued buffering (signal is strong for other devices at the same location).

I’m wondering if anyone else has a similar setup and used an HDMI cable to place the #Stick outside the TV case, and if so, how you’ve protected the Stick from the elements without using something the also degrades the WiFi signal.

Thank you in advance.

Since you have an outlet nearby for the TV, you can try using an wifi extender/booster/extender.  There are some outdoor ones available, but you could also just use indoor ones when you are actually watching the TV and then just bring it inside (or at least unplug it and keep it out of the weather) when you are done watching TV.

(Some Amazon examples of indoor/outdoor extenders)
