It is EXTREMELY disappointing that roku has removed parental controls. This exposes children to any and all content available unless you change settings on every single channel to which kids can simply log out on the channel and use the apps as they wish (YouTube). This is such a disregard for adult content exposure to children and disgusting. Will be switching all (6) products without a doubt.

What do you mean when you say Roku removed parental controls? Roku parental controls are on the PIN Preferences page.
Now, they are only for Roku Channel, but that's all they've ever been for. Other parental controls have always been within the individual apps. Nothing has changed. Perhaps the other apps are now including more content for you to see a need for controls than before, but Roku hasn't removed controls. There was never a device-wide, covers all apps, type of setting.

Hi @K91, we appreciate you reaching out to the Roku Community and expressing your concern. As @DBDukes pointed out, different channels, such as YouTube, may have integrated parental control functions separate from what Roku has. If you want to take a look at what is offered by Roku as far as parental controls, please check out this link: https://support.roku.com/article/208755938. If there is anything else that you would like to add to this, please let us know, and we'll be happy to help!
