I'm having the same problem with missing search results. If I search for the director Lucio Fulci, no results are returned. If I search for a film title directed by Fulci, there are search results. Since I used to follow him in My Feed, I know he should show up by name in the search. It is far easier to search for a specific person than go to IMDB, look up their titles, and then search by title in Roku.

Thanks for your post. 

Could you try searching another director's name and see if there's any difference? Send us as well the serial number and the software version of your Roku device. These can be all found in Settings > System > About. 

Keep us posted we'd like to take a closer look at this!

No search results for Mario Bava or Umberto Lenzi either.

Can you please provide more examples of the directors you are seeing the issue?

We also recommend trying to perform a manual update on your Roku device to see if you are still experiencing the issue you are reporting.
Instructions to manually update your software:
1. Navigate to Settings
2. Select System
3. Select System update
4. Select Check now
