Media Player Support for MP4 H265 Videos

Jump to solution

Will Roku Media Player ever support the newer MP4 H265 Codec for videos?  Right now it supports MP4 H264 but H265 does not work.

How about support for an older format.  AVI

Thanks!

Roku will never support AVI.  H.265 is already supported on 4k devices.

What did they do now? Now my Roku Media Player app will not seek for any videos, music or photos from my DLNA NAS Server.

@Sky1videos

Usually a restart of everything involved will get it going again.  Sometimes will just lose connection.

Restart Router, restart NAS, restart Roku device.
