Input error and black screen after update

After the recent update, If I pause a movie/show for any reason....take out the dog etc, I come back to a black screen saying to change the input on my remote. Nothing has changed with the input status.  I than get directed back to the home screen and have to go back into the channel where I just was.  Can anyone give any fix it tips?? #updatehelp #updateishorrible

Roku operating system version 10.5, which is currently rolling out, has added a new "Power" item in the Settings > System menu for some of the latest Roku models.  In my estimation, these power management options don't work very well.

If you have a "Settings > System > Power" menu item, under "Auto power savings" see if deactivating "After 20 minutes of no interaction" fixes the problem.
