Home screen on all the time

Why is the Roku Home Screen on ALL THE TIME? No way to turn it off. Do not want to ruin my TV screen!

Thanks for the post.

Please be aware that Roku devices do not turn off. If you wish to power the Roku device for your own peace of mind, we would recommend unplugging the power on the Roku device, although it is not necessary.

Please be aware that Roku devices do not turn off. If you wish to power the Roku device for your own peace of mind, we would recommend unplugging the power on the Roku device, although it is not necessary.
