Glitch when chromecasting from Android Oculus

I am able to enjoy YouTube videos on my Roku Insignia TV via the Chromecast protocol. However, the Oculus Android app does not detect my Roku TV as a valid Chromecast target.

Can we please improve Roku TV's support for the Chromecast protocol at a deeper level? That way, the TV will be fully compliant and indistinguishable from a Google branded Chromecast dongle, from the perspective of mobile applications.
