I will be using Plex to stream content with Atmos and TrueHD audio. According to the spec sheet the 3941X is not compatible with Atmos, but will it just pass it to my Onkyo Receiver which can handle Atmos?
Specs state: Dolby Audio pass-through via HDMI (just confirming that means Dolby Atmos too).
It should pass EAC3/Atmos (DD+/Atmos) without issue (which is what every streaming service uses for Atmos) - it wont be able to pass DTHD/Atmos, PCM MAT 2.x/Atmos, or AC4/Atmos.
