Originally my Roku was connected to my TV and would turn on when I turned on my TV. It stopped doing that and would only turn on when I unplugged it and replugged it. I decided to take Roku’s advice and plug it into a wall outlet, but got the same results. Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do to fix it?
thanks
Did your Roku recently receive the update to Roku operating software 10.5 that is currently rolling out? Settings > System > System update will show you. (While you're there you can click Check now to receive any pending updates for your unit.)
Roku 10.5 has added a new Power item in the Settings > System menu for some Roku models. If you have this Power item, under Auto power savings see if deactivating After 20 minutes of no interaction fixes the problem.
