Does roku managment read these forums and/or respond?
This is mostly a user help forum. There are some Roku moderators that help refer users to the appropriate customer service page and things like that, but it really depends on what you are trying to accomplish here.
I was just curious since we haven't heard a peep from them about the completely horrible new "default to banner" on the channel guide.
They are losing customers and I guess they just don't care.
You will most likely get some basic "we will refer it" type of reply. If you are hoping for much more than that, you will probably be disappointed.
In my experience actual management posting on a forum is rare and often goes poorly. (To the point that sometimes the first post is the last.)
As for reading, who knows? At a previous employer, I used to read a forum about us, mostly for entertainment. If I brought it up in a meeting, most people were pretty dismissive. Marketing and management would tell me that’s not a good way to get consumer data – too much self-selection bias etc.
