Data usage

We live rural and have limited internet data. Ever since using our Roku we go thru our data in 2 weeks instead of 4. Why?

What did you use before Roku?  The simple answer is that streaming video uses a lot of data.

Are you returning to the Home Screen (pressing HOME button will do that).

Some people think that turning off a TV with a Roku device streaming will stop the streaming. Those people are wrong.
