Hello, the following matter is in reference to:
Roku TV Model = 7827X
onn. Model = 100012584
Software Version = 11.0.0, build 4193-AT
My four year old son is downloading the YouTube application repeatedly, despite my attempts to delete it. He continues to download it and utilize the platform. To date, I’ve researched putting a password lock on the application however, all attempts have been unsuccessful. To my knowledge, there is no way from placing a restriction on the YouTube app.
The purpose of this post is my attempt into seeking further guidance on how I could possibly restrict the application from being accessed on your OS? On my Samsung tv, I am able to simply place a password on the application, therefore restricting his access.
I appreciate any insight, thank you for your anticipated efforts.
Go to your Roku account at https://my.roku.com and set up a PIN and set it to "Require a PIN to make purchases and add channels".
