Casting from Android phone to Roku devices sort of works.

I have four Roku devices (of various models).  When attempting to cast videos from the YouTube app on my Android phone,  I can see and choose from all four.

Checking out a web video via Chrome on the same Android phone, I can only see one device (one of the older models).

All devices and the Android phone are on the same network.

The mirroring options are set correctly.

Any ideas on why all devices show up when casting from YouTube, but only one shows up from other apps?

Thanks,

Clif Bardwell

What are the model numbers of each Roku device you own? ~ Jordan

I’m into videotapes and old electronics stuff, including extenders, converters and analog 4:3 TV sets (which are obsolete these days), and Miss Bianca is my favorite character in Disney’s The Rescuers (1977) and its sequel, The Rescuers Down Under (1990). I am not a Roku employee, only a user like you. ~ Jordan

Hi, sorry for the delay in responding.

I can't get all 4 model numbers, but I do have the two most important.

Living Room:

3900X - Roku Express

This device is listed as available to cast to.

Bedroom:

3941RW - Roku Express

This device does not show up in the list of available devices.

Trying to cast to the bedroom device.
