Captions won't fit on screen

I've tried changing theresolution countless times to see if my captions will come up.  Even tried changing the font size to no avail.  Only a bit of them display, when its more than one column,  only one fits the screen. I've tried looking everywhere for a remedy. Anyone with an idea here before I ditch this roku thing ?

What Roku device are you using? Model number can be found at Settings > System > About

What app are you using? Sometimes the app developers use their own captioning setup and ignore device settings.

From within the app, list one specific piece of content that has bad captionings.

 Might your tv display itself be zoomed in to where the entire display from the Roku cannot be shown?

This would be something you adjust with the tv controls, not the Roku controls. Different manufacturers label this control differently.  Look for Picture, Size, Zoom, Wide. or something similar.
