Thanks for letting us know about the issue with the AirPlay features on your Roku. We're here to help out!
First off, what Roku device are you using? Are there any error messages popping up during playback? In the meantime, try restarting your Roku by going to Settings > System > System Restart. Also, restart your router and see if that helps when connecting your iPad again.
