Press the * button on your remote four times or disable it (and its shortcut) in the Accessibility settings.
Home - settings - audio guide - OFF! It is a horrid robot voice
Hi @Molynchkam
Thanks for the post.
Audio Guide is a text-to-speech screen reader that assists Roku users with navigation of the Roku user interface and on-screen menus. When activated, Audio Guide will read out text, menu items, and other on-screen items.
For more information here is the link for you: How do I enable text-to-speech using Audio Guide?
All the best,
Irene
The star button does not permanently turn it off but only for the video you are on.

There is a setting in the Roku menu to disable it. Go to Settings/Accessibility/Screen Reader and turn it off. If you are still getting a voice after that, then it's not the native Roku OS that's doing it.
Thanks
I have this issue frequently when i am watching a series where it segues from one episode to another of the same series, (I.E, Bad Batch, Wednesday, Velma, Etc) the select is not selected, I have to exit the show and restart it to get rid of the Voice over it is becoming an issue.
Hi @DaveWood
Thanks for the post.
Does the issue only occur on a specific channel? If yes, please reply here with the channel name. We would also recommend making sure that the screen reader is turned off by pressing the star (*) button on your remote 4 times. Note that performing the same action will enable the screen reader.
