Hi. I have a Streambar SE on a non-Roku TV and would like to upgrade the sound a bit, mostly to improve music but also dialog. Am I better off getting a pair of the wireless speakers or wireless subwoofer? If the latter, is there much a difference between the basic one and the pro? This is in an open space where the tv is on a rolling cart. We're not audiophiles, but the SE is a bit thin for music.
Thanks!
Hello! @Dbergman
Thanks for choosing Roku!
I’m pumped to help you level up your audio game. Have you checked out the Roku Streambar for an awesome 5.1 setup? It’s seriously a game-changer! You can pair it with a Roku Subwoofer or Subwoofer Pro, plus grab two sets of Wireless Speakers for that epic surround sound. It’s super easy to snag everything right from our website. Here’s a quick link to get started! Just let me know if you have any other questions—I'm here to help!
Happy Streaming. 💜

Thank you for the reply. I already have a Streambar SE and am looking to upgrade the sound on a budget. So, my question as above is which one of the three additions will be the best choice. (I can't afford more than that.)
Specifically, which of these is a better addition to the Streambar SE for music?
Hi again! @Dbergman
Thanks so much for keeping me in the loop! I totally get where you’re coming from. With your Roku Soundbar SE, you can easily boost your sound by adding either the Roku Wireless Bass or the Roku Wireless Bass Pro. If you're after the best deal, I'd say go for the Roku Wireless Bass—it's a great choice! Just a heads-up: Roku Wireless Speakers won’t work with the Roku Streambar SE. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Hope this really helps! 💜

Thank you, Haz. Apologies - I think I'm mistaken about the Streambar model - I have a 9102x. Is that compatible with the wireless speakers and, if so, is it a better choice than than wireless bass?
Hi again @Dbergman
Awesome! Your Roku device is a Roku Streambar. If you want to enhance the bass, consider the Roku Wireless Bass; but if you are looking for a surround sound experience, go for the Roku Wireless Speaker. However, it’s best to combine the Roku Wireless Bass with a Roku Wireless Speaker for optimal sound. Plus, with your current Roku Streambar, you can add up to 2 sets of Roku Wireless Speakers.
I hope that answered your question! If you need anything else or have more stuff to ask, just shout—I'm here to help!

Thank you and sorry for belaboring the point. It isn't specifically bass or specifically surround sound that I'm aiming for, but just better sound generally, especially for music. The Streambar is pretty good, but obviously a bit thin in terms of resonance. So I'm trying to determine whether a subwoofer or a pair of the wireless speakers (I wish I could do both, but it's not in the budget) would do a better job for improving overall sound quality.
Thank you!
@Dbergman Thanks for keeping me posted! 💜
I totally get it, no worries at all! Just grab the Roku Wireless Speaker for now and boost that sound experience—it’ll be awesome! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask. I'll be right here!
Cheer up!

Thanks! That was the answer I needed.
