scifi movie channel problem

I have the scifi movie channel on my roku and it never plays a movie all the way thru. Always at about3/4 the way thru it just stops and dumps me back to the roku menu. I go back and hit resume and it repeated every time.

Does anyone else have this issue with the scifi movie channel?  Do they do it deliberately if you're not a subscriber?

As to my use name it was all I could think of after pounding my head on walls for an hour trying to get anything done here...

Re: scifi movie channel problem

Hello @jesuschrist

Thanks for letting us know about the issue you're experiencing.

Does the problem only occur on the SciFi Movie channel or across other channels installed on your Roku device?

If you haven't tried yet, you can remove the affected channel then re-install it. To ensure the process is successful, make sure to restart your device before adding the channel back in. We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.

For detailed instructions, refer to this Support link: How do I resolve channel playback issues?

Let us know how it goes!

Re: scifi movie channel problem

Seems to be this channel only.

Also as a weird note, if I go to the channels website on my tablet or phone I can watch movies all tge way thru, so this only happens on my roku. It's a roku issue I'd say.

Re: scifi movie channel problem

@jesuschrist

Thanks for the update.

If the issue persists from one channel after attempting the suggestions above, videos from other channels play fine, contact the channel provider's customer support team to report the issue and get help.

Channels on Roku are maintained by the channel developer themselves. In this case, there's likely an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from them.

We appreciate your understanding.

All the best,
Kariza
